Production Stagehands Wanted Immediately!
The U.S. Cellular Center is seeking part time employees to perform stagehand duties for concerts of all types.
A stagehand is part of the production staff working directly with a show's production team to facilitate the setup, running and teardown of the events production equipment. Tasks may include light to heavy lifting, pushing, climbing and assembly of equipment.
We are looking for responsible, reliable individuals that are willing to take direction, work with others as a team, are available days and nights and he/she must have good communications skills and be very safety oriented.
The position is paid at an hourly rate with the opportunity of advancement after 125 hours. All work is completed in accordance with the "Collective Agreement" between Compass of Cedar Rapids, LLC and with the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees and Moving Picture Technicians, Artists and Allied Crafts of the United States, Its Territories, and Canada, referred to as the Union or the International (IATSE).

Concert Production Runners Wanted Immediately!
The U.S. Cellular Center is seeking part time employees to perform runner duties for concerts of all types.
A runner is part of the production staff working directly with a show's tour management to facilitate the delivery and pickup of different items and people the day of the show. Tasks may include dropping off dry cleaning, taking show personnel to the mall, driving band members to the gym to work out or ordering and picking up after show food for the buses.
We are looking for responsible, reliable individuals that are good with handling money, have a current driver's license, have a clean reliable van or car that has up to date insurance and he/she must have good communications skills.
The position is paid a flat fee for the day and runners typically work from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., but a lot of that time is spent waiting for instructions and driving around picking up items and people.

Part-time Maintenance
U.S. Cellular Center/Paramount Theatre is always accepting applications for Part-Time Maintenance. Interested candidates may apply online or in person at U.S. Cellular Center Administrative Office, 370 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52401, between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Hours:
- Daytime, evening and weekend hours
- Hours will vary depending on event load.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Event setup/tear down
- General maintenance and custodial work
Skills desired:
- Dependability
- Flexibility in scheduling
- Ability to deal with the general public in a courteous and professional manner
Event Staff/Security
The U.S. Cellular Center/Paramount Theatre is always accepting applications for Event Staff (ticket takers, ushers, door guards), T-Shirt Security (concert/event security) and 24-hour Security Staff (dock/building security). - Take tickets or count patrons as they enter the building
- Assist patrons in finding their seats
- Provide directions to various areas of the facilities
- Keep all aisles clear allowing for constant movement by patrons
- Assist patrons to emergency exits in case of evacuation
